Pink floyd was an english rock band.They were mostly known for their lyrics.Pink Floid mostly put emphasis on lyrics which were greatly meaningful and combined them with voice and guitar.They were a great success as a band.they gave a variety of albums in rock music.Originally the band was formed by Syd Barett who was later replaced by the singer-gutarist David Gilmour.Among the albums releasd in the time of Syd Barett "The Relics" and "Atom Heart Mother" can be mentioned.After the departure of Syd Barrett the bass gutarist Roger Waters took the leadership of the band.David guilmour gave a new dimension to the band with his vocals and guitar performance.They gave many big albums like "The dark Side Of The Moon",The Division Bell","The Wall",The Animal","Shine ON You Crazy Diamond" etc.All of these albums topped the Billboard Chart at that time.They gave Some really hit rock numbers like Time, Pigs, Money,Learning To Fly,Shine On You Crazy Diamond, The Wall,Marooned , Wish You Were Here, comfortably Numb etc.Time has been a Great rock song over the years.Pink Floyd Perfomed The album "Wish You Were Here" in the memory of Syd Barrett.I expect everyone to listen every album of Pink Floyd and realise the depth of their lyrics and guitar performance mixed with the uniqe voice of David Guilmour.
