Today i am going to throw light on the life and the performance of Kurt Cobain who formed the alternative rock band Nirvana.Kurt Cobain died at an young age on April 5 in the year 1994.He was the guitarist , vocalist and song writer of Nirvana who has influennced the rock music world a lot.Nirvana is known for establishing the popularity of alternative rock over other forms of rock.The album Nevermind of Nirvana is thought to be one of most popular and influential album in the rock music of all time.
Cobain was born in Washington on 20th February ,1967.He was living a typical American style as a child.From the child hood itself he was atracted towards Music.At the early age he used to sing songs of The Bittles.From his child hood ,Cobain showed some god gifted talent in music.At the age of seven, his parents divorced .This was a very mournful incident in his life which effected him a lot.He started learning guitar at the age of 14 when he got one as his birth day gift.After learning guitar he started working on his own songs.Coabin formed Nirvana along with bass guitarist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Kohl.The band released their first album Bleach in the year 1989.It was followed by Nevermind released in 1990.This album was the milestone of Nirvana.It topped the Billboard chart for a record time.It included songs like Smells Like A Teen Spirit ,Come AS You Are ,In Bloom etc.Which have been quite popular for years.Other important album includes In Utero.
Cobain got married with Courtney Love in the year 1992.They had a child.Cobain was facing drugs related problems and bronchitis which led to his suicide on April 5,1994.In the sucide note it was found written " Its better to burn out than to Fade Away".The life of Cobain ended but his influence did not stop.It increased with with time.He is still alive in the minds of his lovers.
