A guitarist is an intregral part of a rock band.A rock band will be
incomplete without the performance of a guitarist.Guitar is more
important than any other instruments.A talented guitarist can take
out any melody from his guitar.Sometimes it so happens that the
guitar solo becomes more popular than the song.There have been many
guitarists who have left behind them some unforgettable perfomances
which will make you simply to wonder.If you will listen to them than
you will surely be crazy for more.Today i am going to
discuss on some really talented and crazy guitarists here.I am not
here to compare their performances because they all were great and
cannot be compared.I would like to start with Jimi Hendrix.He is
the most versatile guitarist of all time.This left handy gutarist
gave some classic numbers like All Along The Watch Tower, Voodoo
Child, Purple Haze and so on.He could create a large range of sounds from his
guitar.We may say that electric guitar was given a new dimension by
this wizard of guitar.Another guitar maestro was Jimmy Page.He is
known for his work in Led Zeppelin.He gave guitar solo in songs like
Stairway To Heaven, Who Lotta Love,Black Dog ,Since I have Been
Loving you and many more.All these have proved to be some great
performance.Stairway To Heaven is regarded as the greatest guitar
solo of all time.You will see Jimmy Page playing his guitar with a
bow.Randy Rhodes was another great guitarist.This handsome guitarist
will be seen going crazy in the song Crazy Train.Crazy Train is a
mindblowing performance by Randy Rhodes.Eric Clapton was intersted more
in acoustic guitar.He may be called as the king of acoustic
guitar.He will be forever in our minds for his songs like Layla,
Tears In Heaven and Wonderful Night.In recent times Guns Ans Roses
gutarist Slash and Niravana's Kurt Cobain influences a lot.Slash was
in full flow in songs like November Rain , Civil War, Paradise City
, Sweet child of Mine , Esranged and many more.These songs
established him as a guitar idol of the world of rock music.Other
guitar greats include Van Helen(Eruption) , Mark Knopfler etc.I will
talk about them later.
